Karnataka labour minister Mr.Santosh lad said, at place of westminister, house lords London, SWIA 0OW IEBF Global Business Meet 2024 on Viksit Bharat Investment Summit.
We stand Karnataka stands in number one In hole of India in GDP Karnataka stands number one, you come from milk production, to Silk production, to solar production , we are one of the number one in the country, the second in the country and we are got the Asia’s biggest Solar plant and we are doing around about 8000 mega wats of power today , apart from IT-BT (Bio technology) also is always tremendously doing well in Karnataka. And especially if you come to Steel, in our India produces about 140 million steel wet. Karnataka contributes by 22% . So being Karnataka as such as got a great potential, about 750 multinational IT companies, more than 5580 companies, we have got on 57 medical colleges, 257 engineering colleges. So why I am giving this figures basically you got a skill Centre. What is advantage coming into Karnataka is got a skill set, so you any walk of the life you come Karnataka’s got a great opportunity, you any opportunities that you feel that we could be a part of the journey to grow business will be more than happy to pass the participate and I take this opportunities to thank my Chief minister basically we have done 5 programs which is very important I should state on the stable be spend on about 12 billion dollars per anum. where giving as a social security to the common at today. so because of that our GDPS increased. This is a phenomenal program , where the hole world has looking in to, we are having a 70 million population in Karnataka out of which 40 million families have been given this 5 programs, out of this today state of Karnataka is contributing number one in GDP .So from this platform I feel we shoud look in to this program. So that future,becouse so many democratic countries which are there we can look into this program thank you so much thank you one and all.
